Millennium Thumbprints

by Charles Baker, Christopher Griffin, Marshall Ward
City Hall, Kitchener Ontario.

2000 individual Thumbprints assembled into a 25" high by 42' long relief. The original thumbprints were imprinted directly on wax tablets and "cast-direct" in bronze.
One half on the prints were collected from citizens in Kitchener, Ontario, the other half from citizens in Berlin, Germany. This project symbolizes the goodwill and friendship between the two cities.
